Welcome To The Rock Equestrian Farm

We are situated just outside Bailieborough on the ancient road to Virginia in the beautiful county of Cavan, the home of around 365 lakes which are very popular with European fishermen.

Our house stands on top of a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside

We keep a minimum of 40 Irish bred cobs (tinkers) and ponies which are used for pleasure riding, showjumping and hunting during the winter season. We also keep around 90 cattle, many of them cows with calves. We make our own hay and silage in the summer.

We have stabling facilities for 30 horses and the remainder enjoy living outdoors when the weather is suitable. We also have a large outdoor arena which contains a large amount of special soft rubber filling for the comfort of both the horses and riders.
